Countdown to Eurovision Song Contest - 7 Weeks to go!

With just seven weeks to go before the start of the Eurovison Song Contest, we bring you the latest news on the betting odds supplied by Paddy Power as to who will win the crown in Moscow come the 16th May 2009.

Currently Norway are the front runners to be victors on the night at 6/4 with Alexander Rybak performing 'Fairytale', however they will need to come through the second semi-final to guarantee their place in the final.

The United Kingdom have got it all to do if the bookies are right with their odds on Jade Ewen bringing the Eurovision crown back to the UK in 2010. She is currently 18/1 to become the first UK act to win the Eurovision Song Contest since 1997 when Katrina and the Waves shocked Europe with her performance on the night. Lets hope Jade has the same effect come the 16th May.

Host country Russia are 25/1 to make it back to back successes at Eurovision with Anastasiya Prykhodko signing 'Mamo' which in english translates to 'Mother'.

Over the coming weeks we will be bringing you the latest news from camp Jade Ewen as she looks to restore the UK's pride in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Keep the faith!
